Who Should Apply?

Engineering students who, prior to their bachelor’s or master’s thesis, want to intensively focus on new technologies and soft skills in an exciting and challenging environment. And most importantly, you have
to know: It’s OK to have fun!


When and Where will it happen?

NI WorldClass 2012 is March 6–11 at the National Instruments Germany facilities in Munich.

  • March 6 (afternoon): Participants arrive in Munich.
  • March 7–11: Participants work in project teams.
  • March 11 (afternoon): Participants depart from Munich.

The All-Inclusive Package

NI welcomes the selected candidates as our guests for five days.
Selection as an NI WorldClass 2012 participant includes:


Travel expenses, accomodations, catering

Training Course: A coupon for a professional NI LabVIEW training course free of charge

CLAD exam: After NI WorldClass, interested participants can test their LabVIEW skills on an NI Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) exam (coupon for online exam). The CLAD exam is the first step in the three-part LabVIEW certification process.

PARTICIPANT Selection


An NI representative may contact you for a brief phone interview to get to know you better. Selections will be made by Friday, December 16, 2011, and all applicants will be notified shortly after.


Even if you are not selected for NI WorldClass 2012, we will keep you informed about our academic and recruitment programs and activities. A little surprise is also already waiting for you, so stay tuned!
