NI WorldClass is a robotics workshop for engineering students who want to experience technology, fun, intercultural experiences, teamwork, LabVIEW...

NI WorldClass 2012

When and where?

NI WorldClass 2012 takes place March 6–11 at the National Instruments Germany facilities in Munich.

Who should apply?

Engineering students who, prior to their bachelor’s or master’s thesis, want to intensively focus on new technologies and soft skills.

NI WorldClass 2012 kicks off on March 6.

Top students from German, Austrian and Switzerland universities work on a complex robotics project for five intense days. Participants are grouped into four project teams to use their skills in domains ranging from measurement and control engineering to mechatronics, robotics and embedded systems. National Instruments hardware and software are seamlessly integrated with several robotic platforms, such as the the mobile robot system Robotino® of the FESTO Group (www.festo.com), for use during the project mission.

In addition to the technical challenges, soft skills plays a prominent role at NI WorldClass. Introducing ideas, discussing lessons learned and presenting results are an important part of every project phase.

The technical project is ambitious but doable. NI engineers are always there to coach and guide participants.
